Water resources are necessary for agriculturel production and development. At present,the water contradiction of supply and demand is becoming graver day by day in the international agriculture and people are playing a good deal of attention to the problem, the development of water saving agriculture and water saving irrigation has become an important measure of water resources protection and reasonable utilization. This paper proposed some thoughts of study and development in drought resistant water saving technologies based on our study results and draught resistant water saving technological progress at home and abroad and according to the drought characteristics in the hilly area of Sichuan.

水资源是农业生产和发展必不可少的条件。目前世界性的农业用水供求矛盾日趋突出,已愈来愈引起人们的关注,发展节水农业和节水灌溉已成为保护和合理利用水资源的重要措施。本文针对四川丘陵区旱地的特点,结合自己的研究和国内外抗旱节水技术,从土壤管理、农艺措施、耕作方式、化控技术和灌溉设施等方面对本区旱地节水农业的发展提出一些建议。
