A mathematical model was devel(?)ped for simulating the transfer of heat and momentum in the convection section of an ethylene cracking furnace. The model can be used for calculating the feedstock temperature, pressure, coil wall temperature and heat load involved in the section and predicting the location where two-phase flow might occur as well as the change in the flow pattern. The temperature and pressure of the flue gas can also be calculated.

In this paper, the drying process in the pneumatic conveying dryer under the inconstant drying condition is analysed. With some simplification,the approximate solution of the differential equation for the described process is found.
