为探索适合我国国情的智力低下(MR)有效的治理方法,作者设计了由医师、教师、家庭与社会多方共同参予的综合治理的方案,于1988年2月~1991年1月对弱智学校20名MR儿童进行了为期三年的治理观察,以WISC-R智商(IQ)值与社会适应能力测试评分为指标,结合社会反响等作综合评估,并设有对照和部分录像记录。结果:治理组最初测定的平均IQ为33.7,一年后提高到38.3(P>0.05),其中操作IQ由41.7升到49.9(P<0.05);三年后平均IQ提高到41.5(P<0.05),操作IQ升到56.3(P<0.01);对照组平均IQ最初为38.11,一年后仍为38.1;1989年2月起加做了社会适应能力测试,治理组初次测试≤8分者有9例,1991年复试时仅4例,结合实际能力和他们学到的一技之长,得到了家长和社会的承认,为他们走向社会打好了基础。

43例抽动-秽语综合征随访10~15年,结果表明,①症状具有自限性,多数青春后期明显减轻或缓解,学习、生活及社会适应如常;②具有发病年龄越小症状越重,预后越差的倾向;③内向人格和心理防御水平偏高,是其主要人格心理特征;④绝大多数智力正常,少娄智商偏低;⑤伴有注意力缺陷,活动过度、强迫症、焦虑症等情绪障碍、自伤行为、精神症状及异常脑电图预后较差;⑥重症应给多巴胺能阻断剂,轻症或间歇期应以松弛疗法为主。
