this paper, some main results of studies on the abutment stability of the Ertan dam are given. A series of 20 geomechanical model rupture tests have been preformed in our laboratory. Some problems have been studied, such as: the stability of dam abutmeats, the effects of weak rock on the dam structure, dam abutment treatment and reinforcement, the excavation level of decayed rock, the interaction between the dam and foundation, different dam shapes: parabolic, 3 centered circle, logarithmic spiral, etc. Special attention is paid to the rupture tests and scaled models in this paper. The models were made of 4500 small rectangular parallelepipedal gypsum blocks in order to simulate the rock joints, faults and stratifications, etc.. Some similarity criteria for models are also proposed. Finite Element Analysis of rock abutments is alas described briefly. In addition to the elastic and elastoplastic models of rock masses, an elastoplastic fracture model is proposed. The safety factors obtained by FEM are shown in the paper. They are in good agreement with test results.

本文综述了七年来,对二滩水电站拱坝坝肩稳定进行的分析研究工作成果和方法,研究成果主要有: (1) 运用二十个地质力学模型试验分析坝肩稳定的安全度;分析软弱带即纤闪石化玄武岩对坝肩稳定的影响,探求对它的处理方案,研究河岸风化卸荷带利用和减少开挖的可能性,选择优化的大坝建基面,分析了坝与基础的共同作用。 (2) 运用有限元方法,计算坝肩稳定的安全度,破坏机制,以便和模型试验相对比。本文综述了1/250比例模型的相似律:用4520块石膏块体做成了比例模型,模拟了岩体的块体结构,纤闪石化软弱带及岩体的三组裂隙节理和断裂。本文提出了石膏块体比例相似模拟岩体结构的关系及尺寸效应,弹塑性及脆性材料试验方法等,还提出了连续破坏的记录。本文用20个模型的相互对比方法,得出了坝肩稳定的安全度及锚索方案,混凝土置换,高压灌浆等处理方案的可能性;比较了抛物线拱坝,不同坝型拱坝的稳定度,认为在这里修筑拱坝是可行的。本文还综述了有限元方法计算稳定的弹性模型,弹塑性-脆性模型,两者做了比较,计算结果与实验成果基本一致。

In consideration of the simplicity of hydrogeology conditions of the red bed and lower moisture compressive strength of the rock bed and easiness in shaping in excavation, the feasibility of construction of high arch dam for Xiangxikou hydroproject in Guizhou province has been studied and the factors which should be considered in dam design are discussed. the moisture compressive strength, the elastic modulus and the unit absorption of the bed rock after its treatment with cement injection, or by replacement with concrete met the characteristics required in design, and in this connection construction of high arch dam in the area of red bed not only technically possible but also economically feasible.

在贵州省香溪口水库大坝的设计过程中,根据红层地区水文地质条件简单、岩层湿抗压强度低且易于开采成形的特点,探讨了该地区建高拱坝的可行性及设计中应注意的问题。红层地区经过灌浆、混凝土置换等基础处理后,基岩的湿抗压强度、弹性模量及单位吸水率都达到了设计要求。因此,这类地区建高拱坝不仅可行,而且也较为经济。
