Seventeen pyrethroids were synthesized from thirteen pyrethroid acids and 4-methoxymethylbenzyl alcohol and their α-cyano-derivative.By analogous procedure,twenty two 3-phenoxybenzyl esters and their α-cyano derivatives wore also prepared for comparison.All the newly synthesized esters were evaluated biologically against susceptible strain of mosquitoes (larva and adult), houseflies and German cockroaches.The following generalization can be made: 4-Methoxymothylbenzyl esters possess almost the same potency as well known 3-phenoxybenzyl esters.Their killing effect is slightly lower, while the knockdown effect against housefly is even better.Therefore, 4-methoxymethylbenzyl alcohol is proved to be an effective alcohol component for synthetic pyrethroid. The killing effect of a-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl esters is enhanced, but the change of knockdown effect is not remarkable, on the contrary, the potency of a-cyano-4-methoxymethylbenzyl esters is decreased. Among these new pyrethroids, three 4-methoxymethylbenzyl esters are found to be superior to bioallethrin in some respects and one of them is suitable as an active ingredie-nt for mosquito coils.

We found that theinsecticidal activities of cyclopropanecarboxylates with brominated saturation in thesubstituent at C-3 were lower than that of corresponding matrix compounds withunsaturated substituent at C-3. The insecticidal activities of the brominateddichlorovinyl pyrethroids were depressed, but most of them were still in the category ofhigh potent insecticides.

本文研究了3-位加溴饱和取代基环丙烷羧酸酯的合成方法,进而合成了九种加溴拟除虫菊酯。为了作对照起见,还合成了相应的九种未加溴的拟除虫菊酯。对所有合成的酯进行了生物活性测试,探讨了3-位不饱和取代基环丙烷羧酸酯加溴后在杀虫活性上的变化。

In this work, glyceryl monolaurate (GML) is prepared from glycerin and lauric acid by direct esterification and the effects which influence the synthetic reaction of GML are also been investigated. The results thow that the most favorable cafalyst is phosphoric acid, the best ratio of glycerin to lauric acid is 2.5:1, the 99.27% yield of GML is obtain ed at 180℃ for 3 hours. The GML content in the product mixture is up to 75.34%, but the GML content reported in recent popers is only 70.80%.

本文对以月桂酸和甘油为原料,直接酯化制备月桂酸甘油单酯的合成条件进行了试验研究,确定了最佳条件:甘油/月桂酸(摩尔比)为2.5:1,反应温度180℃,反应时间3hr,磷酸作催化剂。在此条件下,单酯收率高达99.27%。合成酯中,单酯含量达到75.34%,超过了近期化学文献报导的水平70.8%。
