The experimental conditions for determination of chromium with photogenerated iodine due to UV irradiation were studied. The interference behaviour of various foreign ions and its elimination were tested. This method has been applied to analyze environmental samples for chromium, It was shown that the precision and accuracy of the method were satisfactory. The detection limit of the method was 0.05μg/ml Cr(Ⅵ) under our experimental conditions.

Tests were made on the contents of fluoride in 81 samples of drinking water before and after de-fluoridation in 3 endemic villages, Zhuanglang County, of the 81 samples, 36 were tested for aluminum levels and 27 for iodine as well. And the water iodine level was slightly lower (showing no significant difference) than those of the original samples after the water was treated with active aluminum oxide for a day and retreated with aluminum sulfate for another.

本文对甘肃省庄浪县三个病村用活性氧化铝降氟前后饮水中氟、铝、碘含量等进行了研究,81份水氟、36份水铝及27份水碘的测定结果表明:除氟后六个不同时期水氟均值明显降低,与原水比较有显著性差异。除氟后第1和第15天水铝均值明显增高,与原水比较有显著性差异,除氟第1天水铝均值最高为原水铝最高值的2.8倍,是WHO标准的近30倍。第30天水铝均值与原水比较无显著性差异。除氟1天,再生1天水碘均值降低,但与原水比较无显著性差异。说明活性氧化铝除氟效果良好,水碘无明显变化,但除氟后有铝盐残留,在一个除氟周期中,铝盐残留随除氟时间延长而降低。
