The paper states a new probe made up of IC detectors by using isotope tracer for determining the direction and velocity of underground water flow. The probe can be used in underground rock strata and crack passages. The deviation of the direction measured is below ±30%.

A new multi well hybrid flow theory in the multi layered aquifer non disturbance steady flow is introduced in this article.According to this theory the permeability coefficient,hydrostatic head and flow rate graph of each aquifer can be found out by measuring the direction and velocity of vertical flow and permeability rate etc.without pumping or injecting.With this theory and method the permeability in the flow field can be determined and more information about hydrogeology can be obtained without pumping.
