An updated Sub-increment form of constitutional relation of material is used to improved the analytical accuracy and the increment-quzxi-Newton-sub-increment iterative method isadopted to inerease greatly the computational efficiency. To treat arbitrary boundary conditions and arbitrary initial shapes of plates and shells, the penalty element method and the method of tran sformation of local coordinates are aIso deduced in this paper. Comparing with results from analytical solution, from other numerical solutions and from experiments the present solution is proved to be quite effective for the nonlinear analyses of bending, buckling, post-buckling as well as the ultimate strength of plates and shells.

本文基于总体Lagrange坐标描述法,采用Kirchhoff应力张量定义和Green应变张量定义,导出了分析板壳非线性问题的曲壳有限单元法。通过引入新的单元几何非线性关系,本文方法可用于分析板壳的大挠度大转角情况。由于采用了材料本构关系的修正子增量形式,提高了有限单元的分析计算精度。本文采用增量—拟牛顿—子增量迭代技术求解板壳的荷载一位移曲线,与传统迭代方法相比大大提高了计算效率。此外,对于板壳任意边界条件的形成和任意初始形状的考虑问题,本文分别导出了罚单元法和局部坐标转换法予以处理。经计算比较,证明本文方法可以有效地用于板壳的弯曲、屈曲及屈曲后性态和极限强度等问题的非线性分析。

This paper reports on a study of the buckling of a column eccentrically braced at itsmidheight in the weak dircetion. Emphasis is put on the influence of the brace eccentricityon the load carrying capacity of the column. It is found that if the column which isunbraced is more liable to buckle flexurally, then heavier brace is required to slabilize thebraced column when the bracing eccentricity exists; on the other hand, if the unbraced co-lumn is more liable to buckle torsionally, then the bracing eccentricity...

This paper reports on a study of the buckling of a column eccentrically braced at itsmidheight in the weak dircetion. 本文研究跨中截面有侧向偏心支撑的双轴对称截面压杆的屈曲问题,重点讨论了支撑偏心大小变化对压杆承载力的影响。研究发现,如压杆侧向无支撑时发生弯曲屈曲,那么为提高压杆承载力而设置带有偏心的侧向支撑是不利的;反之,如压杆无侧向支撑时发生扭转屈曲,那么,偏心支撑比中心支撑能更有效地提高压杆的屈曲荷载。基于上述结论,本文对Hartford体育馆网架倒塌事故进行了分析,并指出了事故的两个主要原因。
