By analyzing and researching a charging or discharging process of traditional ignition system, an ignition process of engine mixture, as well as special requirements of new type spark ignition engines, a new superposed energy type of ignition system to ignite mixture of spark-ignition engine, which is different from the traditional ones, is put forward in this paper. Meanwhile, the ignition system circuit skeleton diagrams are given too. On the bases of these, the essential compositions, the working principle, and the charging or discharging characteristics were set forth in detail. Furthermore, the experimental researches on this superposed energy type ignition system matching a spark-ignition engine have been done. The test results show that this ignition system is very effective to improve power performance, economic performance and emission characteristics of ignition engines. So it provides a fairly reliable theoretical foundation to develop superposed energy type ignition system deeply.

通过分析传统点燃式发动机点火系的充放电过程以及混合气着火过程 ,结合新型点燃式发动机对点火的特殊要求 ,提出了一种新的能量叠加式点火系统 ,指出了实现该点火系统点火的可能性及其电路原理图。在此基础上 ,对其基本组成、工作原理及其充放电特性进行了详细的阐述 ,并进行了该点火系匹配发动机性能的试验研究 ,结果表明 ,能量叠加点火系是改善发动机动力性、经济性和排放特性的有效途径。

The test results show that this ignition system is very effective on improving ignition characteristics of the ignition engines and increase the power performance by 2%~5%,the economic performance by 4% and the idling emission characteristics by 10%,as well as the full load emission characteristics by 8%~ 20%. Besides,it can also improve the engine starting performance and the running stability at low speed,reduce the lowest running stable speed of engine by 30%.
