  logical omniscience
Logical omniscience is an unrealistic principle for us to use to build a real-world agent, since it commits the agent to knowing infinitely many things.
      
A number of formalizations of knowledge have been developed that do not ascribe logical omniscience to agents.
      
We define a new doxastic logic based on these entities and we show how the belief operators have some desirable properties, while avoiding logical omniscience.
      
The result is a free-standing logic which does not pretend to be a theory of rationality and is therefore immune to, among other charges, that of "logical omniscience".
      


A semantic interpretation based on normal possible worlds is presented in this paper. It is satisfactory for agent's non\|normal modal operators, and there are no logical omniscience problem, side\|effect problem, etc. Comparing with the method based on non\|normal possible worlds, this method is more natural and reasonable, and no additional non\|normal possible worlds are needed. It is also satisfactory for many non\|normal modal logic systems.

Based on a new possible worlds semantic and Rao & Georgeff's BDI formalization which based on a branching time possible worlds model, an improved BDI model is given in this paper. Comparing with Rao & Georgeff's BDI model and most possible worlds formalisms, in this improved BDI model there are not the logical omniscience problem and the side effect problems except in case of equivalence.

But these theories suffer from the omniscience problem seriously. In this paper, the authors argue that intention is not a normal modal operator, and present another intention model. It doesn't have the logical omniscience problem and other related problems such as side effect problem, etc. Compared with Konolige and Pollack's model of intention, this model not only is simpler and more natural, but also satisfies the K axiom and the Joint Consistency. Actually it gives a new method for semantic representation of non normal modal operators based on normal possible worlds.
