To determine water management of seabuckthorn in the light of its water physiology, we studied water physiology Ecology of 5~7 year seabuckthorn on the basis of the experiments and measures from loess hilly region at Ansai in 1998.We clarified the daily and seasonal variation of transpiration intensity, leaf water potential and rate of photosynthesis.The results of experiments indicated that:the averages of transpiration intensity, leaf water status and rate of photosynthesis of seabuckthorn are 0.658g/(g·h)、-1 171 kPa、11.842μmol/(m 2/s) respectively;Seasonal range of free water and bind water of seabuckthorn are 10.85%~32.3%、28.52%~59.14% respectively,range of ratio of them is 0.18~1.03.In the dry season seabuckthorn have characteristic of higher bind water and ratio of bind water to free water,low leaf water potential, big buckling saturation deficit, strong capable of holding water.This provides scientific basis for resisting dry forestation of seabuckthorn, enhancing its water use efficiency.

为依据沙棘水分生理指标确定其水分管理,本文根据1998年在安塞黄土丘陵沟壑区的观测资料,对5~7龄沙棘的水分生理生态特性进行了研究。阐明了沙棘蒸腾强度、叶水势、光合速率的日变化和季节变化规律。试验结果表明:沙棘蒸腾强度、叶水势、光合速率的均值分别为0.658g/(g·h)、-1171kPa、11.842μmol/(m2·s);沙棘束缚水和自由水含量季节变幅分别为10.85%~32.3%和28.52%~59.14%,二者比值变幅为0.18~1.03;沙棘在旱季有较高的束缚水含量和束缚水与自由水的比值,叶水势低,临界饱和亏大,持水力强等特点,这为沙棘的抗旱造林,提高水分生产力提供了科学依据

To seek for the optimum thinning intensity for existing artificial black locust( Robinia pseudoacacia) forest improvement, 9 year old locust forest with density of 2 220 trees·hm -2 was experimented by three different thinning intensities in autumn of 1995. After thinning, the community density and the interception rate of canopy are both decreased, so that the water amount harvesting in the planting strip is increased and the soil moisture in available zone of root system is improved. The soil moisture in thinning forest with density of 1 110 trees·hm -2 is increased by 40%,comparing with the non thinning forest in whole growing seasons. With the increase of thinning intensity, the function curve of tree's water productivity changes from linear to logarithmic upward. When the remaining density is 1 110 trees·hm -2 , the relation curve of tree's water productivity to transpiration is parabolic, which shows that at this moment water is not a limiting factor of production in the thinning forest any longer, and the values of water productivity (WP) of individual tree and whole forest are respectively 6 0171g·kg -1 ·mm -1 and 14 977 7kg·hm -2 ·mm -1 with this density, namely, the thinning intensity with remaining density of 1 110 trees·hm -2 is optimum in black locust forest in this region.

为了确定黄土高原地区现有刺槐林改造的最佳间伐强度,1995年秋季对密度为2220株/公顷的9年生刺槐林进行了三种不同强度的间伐.通过间伐,降低了群落密度,减少了林冠截留率,增加了植树带内的汇流量,根系层内的土壤水分条件得到明显的改善.当间伐后的林分密度为1110株/公顷时,生长季内植树带土壤水分提高约40%.随着间伐强度的增大,林木的水分生产函数曲线由直线上升变为以对数曲线上升;当间伐强度达到某一值时(保留密度为1110株/公顷),林木水分生产力随蒸腾量的变化曲线为抛物线.这表明此时水分已不再是林木生产的限制因子,在这种间伐强度条件下,单株林木和整个林分的水分生产力分别达到60171g·kg-1·mm-1和149777kg·hm-2·mm-1,因此将这一强度定为黄土高原地区刺槐林间伐的最佳强度.

Based on theories and methods of hydrology,the main factors of water consumption and supply by stand survey and on site observationater were obtained. Based on theories and methods of hydrology,the main factors of water consumption and supply by stand survey and on site observationater were obtained. Available water resource and regularity of water supply and consumption in forest soil, the relationship between water supply and water consumption of black locust(Robinia pseudoscacia L.)and Chinese pine (Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.) forests were analyzed,which are used as the main tree species for establishment of protection forest in the loess area of the western Shanxi province. Water supply is less than water consumption in April, May and June, and more than water consumption in rainfall season, in the high density stand,the available water amount is relative inadequate, serious water deficit always occurs. Deficit amount of northward slope is higher than that in southward slope. According to the determination of soil moisture in deeper soil layer, soil moisture is lower in medium age forest with high density in southward slope, so soil is becoming desiccation.Analysis results on correlation between water supply, consumption and forest productivity show that opitimum water balance is the critical factor to improve water potential productivity in forest, which plays important role in management of protection forest in similar types and areas.

通过定位观测,分析了黄土区人工刺槐和油松林地供水与耗水关系、土壤水分动态及林木生长情况。结果表明:人工刺槐和油松林4 ,5 ,6 三个月林地土壤水分消耗大于供给,水分供耗矛盾突出,土壤贮水减少;雨季水分供给充足,土壤贮水增加;在干旱季节和年份,相同条件下,密度大的林分林地水分供耗矛盾突出,林地水分亏损严重;不同坡向,水分亏损量大小顺序为:阳坡> 半阳坡> 阴坡;0300 cm 土层土壤水分调查显示,阳坡、半阳坡密度较大的中林林分林地土壤含水量较低,出现干化现象;从水分生产力来看,由于林地水分供应不足,林木生长不同程度受到限制,林分生产力逐年降低。
