A S-band YIG tuned transistor oscillator has been designed and adjusted by using the s-parameters which is measured by the microwave network- analyser.The oscillator is designed to operate over the octave frequency range of 2-4 GHz,and≥10mw RF power is obtained. According to Lorentz's reciprocal theorem the equivalent circuit of the YIG resonator with coupling loop is given in detail. Under a simple hypothesis,the conditions of oscillation for the common base YIG-tuned oscillator are discussed,and the optimal inductance of the base is found when the tuned band-width is the maximum. A reasonable output matching network of the oscillator was found. The circuits of the oscillator in strip lines are made on a piece of the polytetraflusrethylene(i.e.25×40mm~2).

Fig.2 shows how the two focus lines can be alignmed. There are two kinds oftesting methodes.They are shown in Fig.3 called as the direct method and in Fig.4 as thequadrant method.A group of results obtained by the direct method was given in Table land Table2.Fig.1shows the experimental scheme. By changing the X_(23) value,several different resultswere obtained and are listed in Table 3.We found that the value of X_(23),really affectedour output X-ray laser properties.When the value is set in 11.5mm, we get the smallestdivergent angle of 0.9mrad as shown in the table.

根据实验要求增加了辅助靶架绕Y、Z轴的旋转功能及小靶室靶组绕X轴电动旋转功能,使得靶组相对位置现场精密可调;同时改进了原来的焦线对接检测方法,使相距1m的两条长约30mm的焦线在YZ平面内夹角小于0.2mrad,以保证X光激光在两段增益区顺利传输放大,为寻找高亮度小发散角X光激光输出匹配条件打下基础。并且实验观察了靶组横向间距(X_23)对实验结果的影响
