Based on the mechanism of rebar corrosion in reinforced concrete member by carbonization and present predetermined model,a multi-factor predetermined model of steel corrosion extent is established. The model considers thoroughly the effect of oxygen diffusion,temperature,relative humidity,concrete cover thickness,rebar diameter and compressive strength of concrete,at last the model is provided in a practical engineering. So a scientific basis is provided for the durability estimation,the durability appraisal of concrete structures.
The techniques in the paper may contribute referential inspection and test items,contents and means to the evaluation of durability of the concrete used for bridges in China,and also reference to the design of the durability of concrete bridges.
