The practicability of measuring the correlative degree of X, Y variates for two-way ordered contingency table by means of Pearson's correlation coefficent, and of using the distribution-free statistic method based on permutation to calculate the exact probability under the ρ=0 null hypothesis is discussed in this paper.
Conclusion The fair and reasonable principle that reflects the notion of hospital management should be implemented in the work of statistics of essential distribution. Technology in the network should be fully taken advantaged for the efficient management and keep pace with reform so as to deepen the connotation of statistics and make the statistic method perfect.
Our research using the index of the inequity of health to analyse the health service data of 2000 from ChongQing City proved that the this method has not only a simple calculation but also a reliable result, and can be used to objectively evaluate the status of the inequity of health in regions.
