Taking the project in Boxin, Shandong province as an example, the method and technique of the excitation types, field observation system, data acquisition, the setting of processing parameters and data interpretation, etc of high resolution seismic exploration in geothermal prospecting are briefly introduced. The result shows that not only to prospect the geothermal resources by high resolution seismic exploration is possible, but also the effectiveness is satisfactory.
It is concluded that the integrated geophysical technology is very effective in geothermal prospecting testified by a recent case construction and by drilling exposures.

The terrestrial heat flow measurement, isotope and geochemical techniques have been systematically applied to the geothermal systems in Jiangxi Province. Results show that the thermal waters in the study area all belong to the low-medium temperature convective geothermal system, which essentially differs from high temperature geothermal systems with deep magmatic heat sources. It has been proven that the isotope and geochemical techniques are very useful and effective in geothermal exploration.
Function planning rules, model structures, function-realizing ways and major functions of Shandong geothermal information system have been introduced briefly in this paper. The system establishment is helpful to comprehensively and visually show the scattered, sporadic and systemless information of geothermal geology, geothermal resources and geothermal utilization by words, figures, tables, sounds and pictures, and makes them serve geological exploration and govermental management.
