Exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) is one of the most efficient methods for removing NO_x from diesel engine exhaust. To date there are some problems that have been obstructing EGR from its widely application in diesel engines. This article gives a brief introduction to the essen- tial principles of various types of EGR and, based on some test and analysis results discusses the NO_x purifying effects and the tendency and mechanism of engine early wear-out and lubricant deterioration.

废气再循环(EGR)是净化柴油机排气中NO_x的有效手段,但因目前尚存在一些问题,影响其在柴油机上的普遍应用。本文概述了各种不同方式的废气再循环及其基本理论;综合一系列实验和研究、分析了废气再循环装置对NO_x的净化效果,及其使发动机磨损加剧、润滑油劣化的倾向和机理。
