The mechanism of gas release during fluid transients and the three indispensable conditions is expounded in detail. Based on bubble dynamics, the equation of perfect gas and the thegry of gas diffusion, a formula for the rate of gas release for the homogeneous model is established. The computations based on the formula showed good agreement with two typical laboratory tests. As compared with that proposed by C. Kranenburg the presented formula has advantages both theoretically and practically.

For the first time the authors have studied the aeration properties of floatation column, the influence of apparent aeration velocity, Q_g, effective area of aerator, a, and assembly of corrugated steel plates on performance of floatation column,based on air bubble dynamics, by using a modified 2D table. The results of tests have proved that the improved 2D table is suitable for studying aeration performance of the column; and that if corrugated plate assembly is added, and if apparent aeration velocity and effective area of aerator are properly controlled, we can achieved almost ideal aeration effect.

本文是针对目前在浮选柱分选技术中普遍存在的充气性能差、气液分布不均、流态不稳定等一系列严重问题,从气泡动力学的角度,利用自己设计的浮选柱充气性能测定装置——改进后的二维床,首次从理论上进行了浮选柱充气性能的研究,并考察了表观充气流率Q_g、充气器有效面积a,以及波纹板组的加入对充气性能的影响。试验表明,改进后的二维床适于浮选柱充气性能的研究;加入波纹板组,保持适当的表观充气流率和充气器有效面积,可获得近乎理想的充气效果。
