    The possibillity of simultaneous electrodeposition of Zn and MnO_2 in a single cell from an acidic solution of ZnSO_4 and MnSO_4 was studied. The qualitative analysis by spectrum shows that Ru codeposits with zinc, but Ti does not. It has been found by means of scanning electron microscope that trace Ru and Ti in the electrolyte may destroyed the regularly growing layer in zinc deposit. The x-ray diffraction shows that trace Ru in the solution restrains the growth for (101) surface of zinc deposit.
