Using this method,the insulating ceramics Si_3N_4 has been machined successful. The influences of different electrical parameters in the machining insulating ceramics Si_3N_4 have been studied. Some experiments about Micro-shaft machining have been done,and a 1 mm insulating ceramics shaft has been machined by EDG.
