In this paper, an Micro-electrodischarge Machine is introduced. Micro-rods are fabricated by Wire Electro discharge Grinding (WEDG) in rhe machine. And the micro-rod oan, be used as micro-tool for microhoie drilling in the same machine. Horizontal operation is adopted to improve the removal of debris and the finish quility of the microholes. Some other techniques, such as small discharge energies generator, deionized water used as dielectric, are adopeted also. In the experimental study, a lot of micro-rods...

在微细电火花微孔加工中,微细工具电极的制作精度是决定微孔加工质量的关键。本文介绍了作者研制的微细电火花加工样机。该机床应用了线电极电火花磨削法制作微细轴,并在同一台机床上用制作的微细轴作为工具电极加工微孔;同时为提高微孔的加工质量,采用了主轴横轴布局结构。该机床还采用了微能放电电源、去离子水工作液等加工工艺。经过实验加工,获得了高质量的微细轴以及微孔。

Abstract The article covers EDM grinding technique for machining complex profile honeycomb structure of segmental seals in Rolls Royce(UK) aircraft engines,introducing the part's structure,difficuties of EDM grinding ,technological test research as well as parts machining.

通过对英国罗·罗公司航空发动机扇形封严件的加工,阐述了电火花磨削复杂型面蜂窝结构技术。介绍了零件结构、电火花磨削的难点、工艺试验研究和零件加工过程。

This paper raise a new method to fabricate the micro electrode on line with efficiency and high precision by combining the reverse copying block unit and WEDG unit together.By make full use of the NC function and the apperceive function of EDM machine tool,with the aid of the standard masuring block and the WEDG unit,the taper and the diameter of the micro electrode can be measuerd easily.

将反拷块与线电极电火花磨削 (WEDG)装置相结合 ,成功地实现了微细电极的高效、高精度在线制作。充分利用机床的数控功能和接触感知功能以及标准量块和WEDG装置 ,在不增加任何测量附件的情况下 ,实现了微细电极的锥度及尺寸测量。
