Ontology, by way of formal specification of share concepts, provides a method to resolve the semantic heterogeneous, since it can be used to express the semantics of data sources, identify and construct the semantic relationship of the concepts, compass the sematic consistency.Traditional relational databases is still the main means to store data for its characteristic of mature technique, widely used applications, powerful data management and security. However, relational data only express the "attribute/value" relation, it doesn't have the semantic describing ability. Therefore, it is an important research orientation that how to take out the semantics in the relational data directly, refine the rich semantic information, construct the ontology, make up the defect of relational data schema.This paper discusses the technique of using formal concept analysis in combination with data model and the data information for ontology construction. On the basis of analyzing present status about building ontology,introduces the formal concept analysis method concerned. Finally, under given data model and data information,demonstrates how to construct an ontology.

In the traditional information retrieval models, although suitable retrieval function is chosen in terms of logical views, the performance of information retrieval is always unsatisfiable because the logical views of documents and the logical views of user's information needs can not represent documents and user's information needs well. In this paper, ontology-based information retrieval model is introduced; ontology is generated using a kind of basic description logic, which is a suitable tradeoff between expressivity of knowledge and complexity of reasoning problems. The equivalent classes of concepts can be obtained by using tableau algorithm for this kind of basic description logic; the equivalent classes of individuals can be obtained by using equivalent relations between individuals under condition that only atomic roles exist; so the set of semantic index terms can be acquired. The logical views of documents and user's information needs, generated in terms of these semantic index terms, can represent documents and user's information needs well, so the performance of information retrieval can be improved effectively when suitable retrieval function is chosen. By using a common scenario, the practicability of this model is explained in theory. Finally, the related work is introduced, and the conclusion and our future work are given.

 在传统的信息检索模型中,由于文档逻辑视图和用户信息需求逻辑视图不能有效地代表文档和用户信息需求,所以尽管根据逻辑视图的特点选取了合适的排序函数,但检索性能总是不能令人满意.提出基于本体的信息检索模型,使用较好的兼顾了知识表达能力和推理效率的描述逻辑来构建本体,利用tableau算法和只含有原子角色情况下个体间的等价关系分别生成概念集和个体集的商集,从而得到具有语义的索引项集合,利用这些具有语义的索引项来生成较好地反映文档和用户信息需求语义的文档逻辑视图和用户信息需求逻辑视图;由于逻辑视图能够有效地代表文档和用户信息需求,再根据逻辑视图的特点选取合适的排序函数,从而可以使检索性能大大提高.
