In this paper, A newly developed high velocity are spray gun is introduced. The atomized gas flow speed of the new gun and the generally used one are measured. Al and 3Cr13 is sprayed and the properties and the microstructure of the coating are compared. With the result that the gas flow speed of the new gun is far higher than that of the generally used arc spray gun and the speed of the new gun maintained approximately 600m/s at the distance 80 mm from the output of the gun.Metal particles are fully atomized, fbrming a dense coating structure and a clear layer structure. The value of the combined strength and the hardness are higher. The new are spray gun is a simple and stable. High velocity arc spray is super, high effective and low cost way of thermal spray.

详细介绍了开发研制的新型高速电弧喷涂枪;分析测定了新型喷枪和普通喷枪出口的雾化气流速度,同时采用Al和3Cr13作为对比试验材料,对涂层进行性能研究并观察了其组织结构。结果表明:新型喷枪的雾化气流速度的测试计算值在距枪口80mm的范围内仍然能保持在600m/s左右,比普通喷枪的雾化气流速度有显著地提高;高速电弧喷涂熔融的金属粒子雾化充分,涂层组织致密,层状结构十分明显,并且结合强度值和硬度值均较高:新型高速电弧喷涂论,结构简单,工作性能稳定。高速电弧喷涂是一种优质、高效、低成本的热喷涂方法。

In this paper, Al is sprayed with the new high velocity arc spray gun and the generally used one. The properties and the microstructure of the coating are compared. Results show that concentrated spray plume and high particle velocity are acquired. The quality of atomized particle is improved. The Al coating sprayedwith the high velocity arc spray gun has high bonding strength, high hardness, low porosity and dense structure.This coating is of good quality.

本文对高速电弧喷涂铝涂层和普通电弧喷涂铝涂层进行了对比试验研究。结果表明:高速电弧喷涂粒子束更加集中,粒子的飞行速度显著提高,粒子的雾化效果明显改善。高速电弧喷涂铝涂层具有结合强度高、硬度高、孔隙率低、组织致密等特点。

A newly developed thermal spray technology ,High velocity arc spray(HVA) ,was used to produce highdensity ,low porsity ,high bond strength and higher hardness coatings. The relative wear properties of three HVAS coat-ings were investigated. The differences of microstructure and properties between HVAS and regular arc sprayed coatingswere discussed.

对比研究了新型高速电弧喷涂层和普通电弧喷涂层的表面形貌、显微组织和界面合金元素分布,测定了不同工艺条件下喷涂层的硬度、孔隙率和拉伸结合强度,并考察了三种材料电弧喷涂层的磨损性能,探讨了高速电弧喷涂层和普通电弧喷涂层组织、性能差异的原因。
