Sensible heat efficiency,latent heat efficiency and dehumidification coefficient of performance(DCOP) were employed to evaluate the performance of silica gel wheel and lithium chloride wheel. Some parameters,such as the inlet air humidity and temperature,the regeneration temperature,the air mass flow rate,which may affect the performance of the desiccant wheels,were also analyzed.
The relational expression for total heat efficiency,sensible heat efficiency and latent heat efficiency of total heat exchanger is established with weight coefficient method. The influence degree of sensible heat efficiency and latent heat efficiency on total heat efficiency of total heat exchanger is determined according to weight coefficient of sensible heat efficiency and latent heat efficiency.
By deducing the relation expression of three kinds of effectiveness, analyzes theinfluencing extent of sensible heat and latent heat effectiveness on total heateffectiveness.
According to the results of numerical calculation and experiment,sensible effectiveness has been influenced more significantly than latent effectiveness by air face rate.
The experimental data show that the sensible heat effectiveness and moisture effectiveness are both affected by the disposing air quantity under certain conditions.
