A method of separating 15 rare earths(RE)with thin-layer chromatography is described. Under the conditions of the experiment employed, all RE can be separated completely. The ratio of the composition of mobile phase is changed to meet the difference in the properties of RE. When the eluent of P_(204)/P_(507)/TBP/THF/HN03/i-Pr_2O is 111: 52: 5: 521: 86: 1000.(V/V)and 68: 43: 27: 460: 103: 10000(V/V), La-Nd and Sm-Lu can be separated respectively. 稀土元素是我国的丰产元素之一,单一稀土元素的分离与分析是个很重要的课题。本文在文献的工作基础上,进一步对原有展开剂体系作了研究,提出用P_(204)-P_(507)-TBP体系作为展开剂,分离了十五个稀土元素,在本文实验条件下,各个稀土元素的R_f值都适中(0.1—0.7),相邻元素间的R_8值都大于1.2,同时对混合稀土样品作了测试,结果令人满意。
