The flocculating effects of the flocculants produced by the flocculant-creating bacteria HHE-P7, HHE-P8, HHE-P21, HHE-P24 and HHE-A26 on the high-turbidity wastewater from building material production are studied respectively, and the main factors affecting the flocculation are discussed.
The results indicated that the maximal flocculating rate was 87. 6%、86. 5%、 79. 7% and 82. 1% for strains X1, X16, X20 and X38 respectively, all they are cultured by food processing wastewater for 30 hours.
The result showed that when polyaluminium chloride dosage is 70 mg/L, PAM dosage is (0.5) mg/L, and flocculation reaction time is 35 min, average removal rate of chemical bio-flocculation process is 61%, 70%, and 90% respectively for COD, TP and SS, the removal effect of this process is greatly superior to that of chemical coagulation process.
The influencing factors for RL-2 flocculating kaolin suspension were studied,the results showed that: CaCl2 was a good coagulant aid for microflocculant RL-2,when Ca2+ existed in the suspen-sion,the dosage of flocculant was 5-20 mg/L,the pH value was within the range of 3-9,the said microflocculant could efficiently flocculate the kaolin suspension,the flocculation rate could be as high as 98.4%;
It is indicated that the suitable pH value for the microbial flocculants to flocculate Kaolin clay suspension is higher than 7 and the flocculation ratio is up to 94.6% with the synergy of Ca~(2+)、 Mg~(2+) and Al~(3+).
The results show that the best pH is 8 when L-3 flocculate bentonite suspension and Ca~(2+)、Mg~(2+)greatly promote the flocculation. The discolor rates of acid blue A, base red, active green KN-R, direct purple NM by the treatment of flocculant L-3 are 93%,84.2%,75.5%,86%.
