The phase-field method is applied to simulate dendritic growth in the three-dimensional space. The phase-field method is applied to simulate dendritic growth in the three-dimensional space. In that method, every calculated cell is endowed with a variable which identifies whether the cell is in the interface region and the phase field equation is only solved for the cells in that region. When the dendrite grows, the method captures the liquid cells into the interface ones and pushes the interface region forward. For the captured liquid cells, the values of the phase variable are modified. The validity and correctness of the method are discussed. We apply the calculating method to accelerate the simulation of 3D dendritic growth and enable the simulation to perform with a personal computer. We simulate the morphology of growing dendrite and the growing velocity at the dendritic tip. The result of simulation substantiates the feasibility.

采用相场方法模拟纯物质三维枝晶生长.在不改变相场模型的条件下,提出界面捕获液态计算方法.赋值计算单元界面标志,只对界面处的单元求解相场变量,当枝晶生长时,捕获液态单元为界面从而推进界面,并对捕获到的单元校正相场变量.论证了该方法的有效性和正确性.通过液态捕获方法加速相场模型的计算,使单晶粒三维枝晶生长模拟在个人微机上实现.计算枝晶生长形态及枝晶尖端生长速度.计算结果表明该方法可行.
