Toxicokinetics of ~(14)C-Sumicidin was studied in the mouse and rat after

The results showed that the clearance rate of ~(125)I-MAA from plasma in rats with liver injury was markedly inhibited, the half life(T_(1/2)) of ~(125)I-MAA was significantly prolonged(P<0.01) and the hepatic distribution of ~(125)I-MAA was decreased significantly(P<0.001) as compared with normal rats. when the rats with acute hepatic injury were treated with DRLC, the clearance rate of ~(125)I-MAA from plasma was increased; the T_(1/2) value was significantly shorter(P<0.02) and the hepatic distribution of ~(125)I-MAA was significantly greater(P<0.01) than those in the control group. On basis of these findings, we conclude that DRLC can significantly improve the phagocytic function of Kupffer cells in a rat model of acute hepatic injury induced by D-GalN.
