Objective To study the imaging signs and the pathological basis of early avascular necrosis of the femoral head (ANFH) in animal models.Materials and Methods ANFH model was prepared in 18 healthy naturally bred goats, regardless of the sex and age. The un operated femoral heads were taken as control group. MRI CT and radiography were performed at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 12 weeks after the procedure. The animals were sacrificed immediately after the last examination. Both femoral heads were removed and macroscopic and microscopic observations were made.Results No abnormal findings were seen on CT and radiographs in 7 weeks after the procedure. In experimental group at 12 weeks, decreased density was seen in one of 3 femoral heads on radiographs, while in all 3 heads on CT scans. MRI demonstrated abnormal signal in 6 of 9 heads during the first week. During 3~12 weeks, abnormal MR signals were seen in all diseased heads. Before 12 weeks, no any change in shape was found in all imaging examinations. Pathologically, focal dissolution of the marrow, cell fragments in bone trabeculae, granulation, or liquefaction of the fat occurred within 1~2 weeks. Marrow necrosis kept going with fibrous hyperplasia during 3~7 weeks until 12 weeks when the necrosis stopped and the new bone formation occurred. MRI was the most sensitive technique in detecting early changes of ANFH.Conclusion In this experiment, the radiography and CT can not demonstrate the early pathologic changes of ANFH within 7 weeks after the surgery. Only after 12 weeks, slight decreased bone density and trabecular derangement due to marrow necrosis and decalcification can be observed. Thus, radiography and CT is of little value in detecting early changes of ANFH. In contrast, MRI is very sensitive, the abnormal signals can be detected as early as in the first week, thus, MRI is of the choice for early ANFH.

Two transgenic plants (T_0) have been obtained from the bombarded 535 immature embryos of Zhong60634.Bioassay results show that the development of aphid could be slowed down and the survival rate of young aphid could be reduced by gna gene.Seventeen transgenic plants (T_0) were obtained from the bombarded 4636 immature embryos of Yumai66.Twenty plantlets with good resistance to Rhopalosiphum padi and Macrosiphum avenae,which are mainly aphid in north wheat area,were identified from the transgenic plants of T_1 generation that came from 8 T_0 transgenic plants with good resistance to aphid.The anti-aphid bioassay shows that resistance to the different grain aphid is not the same in transgenic wheat plants.To Rhopalosiphum padi,the rate of survival aphid 8 days after exposing transgenic plants to aphids is significantly lower than that of nontransgenic plants.To Macrosiphum avenae,growth speed of aphids is slowed down but not killed.At the same time,the death rate of young aphids is increased.Anyway,feeding of the two kinds of aphids has been controlled in a certain degree by gna gene when aphids can free to move in plants.

Objective: To study the effect of drawing out the screws intermittently on the healing of femoral neck fracture.Method:Eighteen healthy goats with matured skeleton were used to make the model of femoral neck fracture fixed with three compression screws.One side was selected randomly to be the experimental side and the three screws were drawn out respectively in the 4th,8th,12th week after the operation.The other side was the control side and the three screws were drawn out in the 12th week after the operation totally.After the model was made they were divided into A,B,C groups,which were sacrificed separately in the 4th,8th,12th week after the operation.Tthe experimental side was compared with the control side on X ray ,SPECT ,and microscopic inspection.Result:The data of SPECT appears: the blood flow in the artery and the vein of the experimental side was better than that of the control side in group A,B.There was no difference between the two sides in group C.The microscopic inspection showed: The generation of new blood capillary and interlaced bone in the experiment side was more rapid than that of the control side.The clearance of necrosis bone chips in the experiment side was accelerated.Conclusion:Drawing out screw intermittently can improve the blood flow of the feraoral head and facilitate the healing of the fracture.

目的探讨间断拔钉对股骨颈骨折愈合的影响。方法取本地自然放养的健康成年山羊18只,建立双侧股骨颈骨折后3枚加压螺纹钉固定的模型,随机取样的一侧为实验侧,分别于术后4、8、12周各拔1钉;另一侧为对照侧,术后12周时3枚钉一起拔出。模型建立后随机分为A、B、C3组,分别于术后8、12、16周处死取材。期间做X线检查、核素骨显像、组织学检查对比两侧愈合情况有无差别。结果骨同位素显像血流相及血池相显示A、B组实验侧动脉灌注及静脉回流较对照侧通畅,静态相显示实验侧血运优于对照侧。组织学观察结果显示在血管生成、编织骨生成、坏死骨清除等阶段实验侧均较对照侧提前。结论应用间断拔钉法治疗股骨颈骨折,可改善股骨头血运,加快股骨颈骨折愈合。
