A Multi-Path QoS Routing Protocol in a Wireless Mobile Ad Hoc Network
      
In this paper, we propose a new TDMA-based QoS multicast routing protocol, namely hexagonal-tree QoS multicast protocol, for a wireless mobile ad hoc network.
      


An evaluation scheme for wireless mobile Ad Hoc routing protocols was proposed to understand the whole performance of Ad Hoc routing protocols. By using this scheme to compare the performance of four key ad hoc routing protocols: DSDV, TORA, DSR and AODV, general parameters of these network routing protocols were obtained, and the relative performance in different conditions was held. It will provide reference for designing more scalable routing protocols.

针对无线移动Adhoc网络路由协议综合性能的评定 ,提出了一套网络路由算法的评估方案 .通过运用该评估方案对四种重要的Adhoc网络路由算法 (即DSDV ,TORA ,DSR和AODV)进行对比分析 ,全面地获取了这些网络协议的性能指标 ;同时 ,掌握了各种不同算法在不同场景条件下的相对性能 ,为设计扩展性更好的Adhoc网络路由协议提供参考

Large scale of wireless mobile ad hoc network is one important form of future military and public mobile communications. Its key technologies are reviewed. The idea to solve the routing problem of large scale of networks is proposed. Two multiple protocols for ad hoc networks incorporated with smart antennas are presented. The adaptive transmission scheme to implement up to 100 Mbit/s data rate is given.

大规模无线移动adhoc网络是未来军用和民用移动通信的重要形式之一.作者研究大规模无线移动adhoc网络的关键技术,提出解决大规模网络路由的基本思路,阐明在adhoc网络中应用智能天线的两种多址协议,给出了实现高达100Mbit/s的自适应传输方案.

A connection-oriented and reactive path-pool-based routing protocol (PPRP) is proposed for wireless mobile ad hoc networks, in which asymmetric links exist prevailingly. When a node (source node) initiates to communicate with another node (destination node), a data-path pool for source node and a reply-path pool for destination node are established respectively through routing discovering processes. User data and data-acknowledge packets are exchanged via the paths selected randomly from the data-path pool...

Simulation results show that PPRP has a good performance in asymmetric-link ad hoc networks.

提出了一种适用于非对称链路的AdHoc网络路由协议。该协议是一种基于路由池的反应式路由协议,当源节点与目标节点有数据交换时,通过路由发现过程分别在源节点和目标节点构建数据路由池和应答路由池,数据的发送和应答路径随机地从相应路由池中选取,并在数据的交换的过程中动态地更新和维护路由池。仿真结果表明该协议适用于普遍存在非对称链路的无线移动AdHoc网络
