In this paper,the traditional grading design method is compared with the SHRP grading design method,and a new kind of grading curve is put forward, which not only meets the requirement of SHRP grading but also conforms with the domestic practical experience.
The reasonable advices of modified AC gradation range are brought forward. Gradation curve between 2.36mm and 0.3mm should be under the limit boundary,the proportion of fine mineral aggregate should be decreased properly,and the 2.36mm mineral aggregate should not be overstep prescriptive area coverage.
