Pure lead slabs are used to simulate steel ones undergoing rolling and the deformation of their deformation in vertical and horizontal rolling passes are analyzed. Thereupon, a model for the spreading of slab during vertical and horizontal rolling is established. Experimentation confirms the high reliability of the model which serves as the technical foundation for calculating the mill width settings and the automatic control of strip width in hot strip rolling.

作者以纯铅模拟轧制试验为基础,分析了板坯在立轧、平轧时的变形情况,建立了板坯在立轧、平轧时试样宽展的新模型。试验表明,该模型精度较高,可为热轧窄带钢实施计算机宽度的设定及宽度的自动控制提供技术依据。

In the strip rolling, the boundary conditions of the deformed zones are too complicated to find a accurate solution with analysis methods. The simulation of rolling with elastoplastic contact boundary element method in this paper is a new numerial method.It is assumed that the rollers are elastic bodies, and workpiece is a kind of elestoplastic material.The less hypotheses are used in the analysis of the rolling, thesefore, the effective and accurate solutios are given in this paper.

轧制过程中,变形区的边界条件很复杂,难以用解析方法准确分析求解,本文尝试用有摩擦弹塑性接触问题边界元法模拟轧制过程,在分析过程中视轧辊为弹性体,轧件为弹性塑性材料在接触边界上考虑了滑动和粘着两种摩擦状态。本文用较少的假设,更准确地模拟了轧制过程,为轧制分析提供了一个有效而精确的方法。

Abstract In this paper, a new method named elastoplastic contact boundary element method developed by the authors of this paper is used in the simulation of rolling process. As the roller is an elastic body, and workpiece is made of a kind of elastoplastic material, the rolling process can be taken as an elastoplastic contact problem. The least assumption is considered in simulating the rolling process, therefore, an effective and accurate numerical approach is presented for analysing the rolling process.

本文用作者开发的弹塑性接触边界元法首次模拟轧制过程。轧辊为弹性体,轧件为弹塑性体,视轧制为有摩擦的弹塑性接触问题,用最少的假定模拟了轧制过程,为分析轧制过程提供了一个有效而精确的数值解法。
