    Combining optimum technique, the white, grey and random effective factors met in the course of optimally designing pipeline structure are considered by the use of reliability theorey and grey system theorey in this paper. The method of multi-objective reliability and grey optimal design for pipeline structure is presented and the calculation of living example shows it is more economic than routine de- sign method.
