The relation between data measured insitu and the NDVI derived from AVHRR of NOAA14 duiring albal bloom in the Bohai sea in 1998 to establish surface cell concentration model of Ceratium furca(EHr.) was analysed. This model is easy to utilize data received from multisource satellite in operation, and gets directly the index of phytoplankton cell concentration. The area and distribution of high concentration also presented. Based on this model, propagation speed of phytoplankton in the progress of algal bloom development was discovered. Algal bloom water from silt or suspended particle material(SPM) can be discriminated by the model.

以1998年渤海赤潮过程中的现场实测资料和同步的NOAA 14的AVHRR数据,以植被指数(NDVI)为基础,建立了渤海叉角藻赤潮生物细胞数遥感探测模型,该模型使用简便,可以有效地利用目前正在运行的气象卫星数据进行赤潮的业务化监测,直接获取赤潮浮游植物细胞数这个指标、确定赤潮的发生范围、赤潮面积以及赤潮生物分布的密集区,并计算细胞分裂速度以判定赤潮的生消状况,为赤潮灾害的应急防治工作提供依据。同时可以区分赤潮水体与其他如河流或排污口排放的泥沙或悬浮物,以消除这些物质对赤潮识别带来的影响。

Based on the lowpass data,the red tide, the non-red-tide and the transitional seawater areas can be recognised through the method that uses the Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm to estimate the parameters of the conventional Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC)——EM-MLC; the red tide areas that are resulted by the different dominant species respectively can be recognised...

This paper presents an ocean red tide recognition method based on the data from the high and low pass filter of the wavelet decomposition. Based on the lowpass data,the red tide, the non-red-tide and the transitional seawater areas can be recognised through the method that uses the Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm to estimate the parameters of the conventional Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC)——EM-MLC; the red tide areas that are resulted by the different dominant species respectively can be recognised ulteriorly. The information of the non-dominant species in the course of the red tide can be analyzed using the highpass data, which establishes a foundation to estimate the sorts of the algae. The comparative experiments prove that the method can recognise the red tide effectively. At the same time, the forecast of the red tide can be done according to the recognized area of the transitional seawater.

提出了一种综合利用小波变换高低通滤波数据的海洋赤潮识别方法。基于低通滤波数据,利用基于有限混合密度理论期望最大(EM)算法作为最大似然分类(MLC)参数估计的方法(EMMLC)来进行赤潮、非赤潮和过渡水体的分类识别,并可进一步识别出不同优势种藻类引发的赤潮区域;利用高通滤波数据,可以分析赤潮爆发中非优势种藻类的信息,这就为引发赤潮的藻类种类的判断奠定了基础。通过实验验证了本方法可以有效地进行赤潮识别。同时,根据检测出的过渡水体区域信息,可以进行赤潮爆发前的预测。
