In this paper the computation method of elastohydrodynamic lubricantfilm thickness of cam-tappet pairs of internal combustion engines under ??unsteady load conditions is discussed.On the basis of Holland's method,a modified equation for the computation of film thickness variation isproposed. With the aid of a computer,the lubricant film thickness under bothsteady and unsteady load conditions as well as their relevant parameters arecomputed and discussed in detail.Finally,the relevant conclusions aregiven.

本文根据弹性流体动力润滑(简称弹流润滑或EHL)理论对凸轮-挺柱副之间的不稳定状态承载弹性流体动力润滑(简称动态弹流润滑或动态EHL)油膜厚度的计算方法及计算公式进行了研究,对Holland的计算公式作了改进,并用电子计算机对凸轮-挺柱副之间的稳定状态(简称稳态)和不稳定状态承载EHL油膜厚度及其他参数进行了计算,对其润滑性能作了分析,得出了有关结论。

Through the theoretical calculation of the contact stress anoil film thickness between cam and tappet of WH4102Q diesel, some curves are plot-ted and analysed. It shows that this contact pair is unsuitable in lower speed rangeoperation. In addition, author's viewpoint on optimizing structure of anti--wearmaterials is presented.

This paper is a continuation of the computation of unsteady loaded EHLfilm thickness of cam-tappet pairs of IC engines and analysis of its lubri-cation performance. In this paper,the authors investigated the measurement of unsteady loaded EHL film thickness of cam-tappet pairs. First,the authors systematically recounted and appraised the documentsabout measurement of the EHL film thickness of cam-tappet pairs.Then theauthors selected a capacitance method,designed an experimental rig withan advanced system for measuring the unsteady loaded EHL film thicknessof a cam-tappet pair,and obtained the distributive curves of film thicknesson cam.The measured results are basically consistent with the computedones,therefore the method is feasible for the measurement.Finally,theauthors analysed the results in detail,gave the relevant conclusions,andpointed out the exertive directions in the measurement in future.

本文是对内燃机凸轮-挺柱副不稳定状态承载弹性流体动力润滑(简称动态弹流润滑或动态EHL)油膜厚度和其他润滑参数的计算及其润滑性能分析研究的继续。作者试图用电容法直接定量地测量内燃机凸轮-挺柱之间动态弹流润滑油膜厚度,并设计了专门的测试装置和先进的测试系统。测试的结果与理论计算值对比后,证明作者的这套测试装置和测试系统是可行的,为今后进一步提高测试精度和开展这方面的研究提供了初步的试验依据。
