Link average speed is one of the most important traffic parameters for urban traffic management.In this paper a new link average speed estimation model based on probe data is discussed.After anglicizing the sampling size of the probe for link average speed estimation,the exponentially smooth model with adaptive weight is built.Because of the link average speed estimation easily influenced by the number of probe vehicles,error tracking signal and probe vehicle number index are introduced to the weight.Then VISSIM simulation on main road is used to evaluation the model and the result shows that even the probe penetration cannot satisfy the requirement of the sampling size,comparing to the arithmetic mean method,the new exponentially smooth model of this paper can effectively decrease the error and variance of the link average speed estimation.

在讨论探测车样本数量统计需求的基础上,提出了一种基于探测车技术的路段平均速度自适应加权指数平滑估计模型,模型中加权系数随着跟踪误差大小和路段上探测车数量的变化而自适应调整,并利用VISSIM仿真数据验证了该模型.结果表明:在路段上探测车占交通流比例随时间变化且不能充分满足统计要求的情况下,相对传统的算术平均方法,基于指数平滑的路段平均速度估计能够有效提高估计精度,并且可有效减小由路段上探测车数量变化而引起的速度估计方差.

The real-time traffic information collection method based on GPS is studied.Two segment average speed estimation algorithms are proposed based on the longitude,latitude and speed data collected by GPS receiver.In the first one,the longitude and latitude data in WGS-84 are transformed into the data in two-dimensional rectangular coordinate through the Gauss projection coordinate transformation,and the average speed estimation is achieved.In the second one,from the study on the mechanism of velocity determination using GPS,the average speed estimation is achieved through the definite integral of velocity.The algorithms and technical process are validated through the field experiments,and the computation results of two algorithms are compared using the field data.It is indicated that real-time traffic information collection method based on GPS is feasible and effective in practice.

对基于GPS的实时交通信息采集方法开展研究,分别提出了利用GPS返回的经纬度数据和速度数据的两种路段平均速度估计算法。前者通过高斯投影,将WGS-84坐标系的GPS经纬度数据转换为平面直角坐标系的数据,从而计算平均速度。后者从GPS单点测速机理的研究入手,通过速度定积分计算距离得到平均速度。通过现场试验对算法和技术流程进行了验证,并利用实测数据对比了两种算法的计算结果,表明基于GPS的实时交通信息采集技术在实践中是可行和有效的。
