In a new period, the undergirding of coal's place in basal energy sources, the conversion of production modes and the sustainable development of the coal-mining industry also require the elevation of techno-economic level of the coal-mining enterprises in China.
By setting up an evaluation index system and adopting principal components method, we get the evaluation values of techno-economic level of the coal-mining enterprises in China from 1988 to 2000. The result well shows the general trend of which the techno-economic level of the pivotal state-owned coal-mining enterprises goes up in the time series.
