A new type of variational principle in elasticity, called the generalized mixed variational principle, has been developed in recent years. Its distinguished feature is that its functional contains some arbitrary additional function, called the splitting factor. This new principle unifies all the main existing variational principles in elasticity into one frame and brings to light a more profound relationship among them. In application, it offers us a fresh mathematical means to establish new models for finite clement analysis. These models have shown their advantages, by regulating the splitting factor, they give better numerical solutions, and especially, can be used to cope with the thorny ill-conditioned problems in FEM.This paper gives a summary of the new variational principles in both linear and nonlinear theories of elasticity and presents some discussion on their applications to FEM.

近些年弹性力学中出现一种新型的变分原理,称为广义混合变分原理.特点是其泛函中包含某些可以任意选择的附加函数,称为分裂因子.新原理将弹性理论中现有的各主要变分原理都统一在一个框架中,并揭示出它们之间更深一层的相互关系.在应用方面,它提供了一个新的数学手段以建立有限元分析中的新模式.这些新模式已经显示出它们的优点:适当调节分裂因子,它们给出更好的数值解答,特别是,可用它们来处理有限元方法中棘手的病态问题.本文综述了线性及非线性弹性理论中的这种新型变分原理并就其在有限元中的应用作了讨论.

Given in this paper are more generalized variational principles in finite deformation theory of elasticity, called Genenralized Mixed Principles) the feature consists in the functionals including arbitrary additional functions in them, from which we can obtain all the existing principles in the finite deformation theory of elasticity (including generalized ones) ,letting the additional functions be certain special values. Besides, the Generalized Variational Principles given in papers [1], [3] can also be obtained,...

Given in this paper are more generalized variational principles in finite deformation theory of elasticity, called Genenralized Mixed Principles) the feature consists in the functionals including arbitrary additional functions in them, from which we can obtain all the existing principles in the finite deformation theory of elasticity (including generalized ones) ,letting the additional functions be certain special values. Besides, the Generalized Variational Principles given in papers [1], [3] can also be obtained, neglecting the small quantities of a higher order. This paper consists of three parts:1. The generalized mixed variational principles are established under a new idea, and all the principles in elasticity are unified into one frame;2. The new principles are applied to the finite element analysis, called generalized mixed finite element method, in which the additional /unctions will exert an influence on its precision and a criterion for choosing them is proposed;3. The generalized mixed finite element method is used to calculate the stress intensity factors. For contrast, the examples in this paper are the same as those in paper[6]. The results show that the generalized mixed method combined with the suggested criterion gives higher precision (by the same number of elements).

本文提出大位移非线性弹性理论更为一般的变分原理,称为广义混合变分原理.其特点是在它们的泛函中,含有可供任意选择的附加函数.令这些函数为某些特殊值,就可得到大位移非线性弹性理论中已有的诸变分原理.此外,略去泛函中的高阶小量,就直接得到小位移线性理论的更一般的广义变分原理,由于篇幅所限,这部份内容在此不再详述.本文的主要内容有三部份:(1)用新的思路建立并证明广义混合变分原理(大位移非线性;并把线性,非线性诸变分原理统一在一个框架中);(2)把广义混合变分原理用于有限元分析,称为有限元广义混合法;这时泛函中的附加函数对有限元分析的精度有影响,如何选择它们,使数值解答最佳,是一个有待进一步研究的问题;本文建议一个选择它们的准则;(3)给出有限元广义混合法的算例;为了比较,本文以文献[6]中的题目为对象,计算了应力强度因子.结果表明,按本文建议的准则,广义混合法的解答精度较高(单元数目相同).

In this paper a non rigid body model for error compensation is raised by studying a cantilever CMM.The theoretical analysis of additional functions is discussed. The method on how to approach additional functions in experiment is devised.The related experiment shows that it is feasible to improve the accuracy of non rigid CMMs.

通过对一台悬臂式坐标测量机的研究,建立了非刚体的误差补偿模型。详细深讨了模型中附加函数的理论分析和在实际应用中获得它的方法。通过实验验证,非刚体补偿模型对提高弱刚度坐标测量机的精度行之有效。
