Rheological properties of the pulp with different contents of juicy peach were measured at different temperatures. This paper introduces a study of the algorithm for a sensitivity analysis of the system performance index used in the automatic contingency selection method (ACS)for steady state contingency assessment in a power system. A general formula is presented to calculate the increment of the real power performance index for multiple line outages. This formula extends an application of the algorithm to the case of contingency selection for multiple lines breaking down simultaneously. The numerical tests show that this algorithm has accurate results with little difference from those of the one iteration method offast decoupling load flow,whereas the time consumed less than that of the latter by about two orders of magnitude. A complete derivation of the formula and the test results are also given in this paper.
