2. After studying the musical theoretics, the musical conceptions, the methods to describe the musical features and the theoretics of musical signals analyzing, some signal processing conceptions and algorithms and signal features about music tone extracting is presented.
Pitch tracking algorithm based on autocorrelation measurement in time domain was used to extract melody from music clips. Different acoustic musical signal frame segmentation approaches were evaluated.
In this paper,a low bit rate speech coding algorithm based on wavelet transform is given It has the features of low bit rate (less than 3kbps)、wide applicability、high quality and no artificial noises ,and is effective not only to speech signals but also to music signals It will help to implement low bit rate wideband audio coding,and is significant to the high efficient transmission and store of information.

The experimental results are closed to the theory analysis. In the working band 10Hz～10kHz of the system, it has a good ability of response. Its sampling rate, step nuamber and the number of remembering bits can be adjusted for various applications. For example, it can process the signals of speech, music, seismic data and so on.
