Methods: Plasma concentrations of lipoprotein(a) were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 61 patients with nephritic syndrome and 55 healthy objects. At the same time the levels of BUN,Scr,TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were measured with enzyme assay respectively.
Results: The concentrations of Lp(a),BUN,Scr,TC and LDL-C in patients with nephritic syndrome were significantly higher than that in healthy controls,however the concentrations of HDL-C in patients with nephritic syndrome was significantly lower. The plasma concentration of lipoprotein(a) was significantly positive correlating with plasma BUN concentration and Scr concentration. There was no correlation between LDL-C,HDL-C,TG,TC and Lp(a).
METHODS:56 patients with nephritic syndrome were randomized into the treatment group(36 cases)and control group(20 cases),to be respectively treated for 6 months with Piperazine Ferulate Tablets,hormones or cell toxic medicines.
In all, 177 cases presented with primary nephrotic syndrome; all had complicated courses and most were either corticosteroid-dependent or-resistant.
