Previous works indicated that the inhibitory effect of acupuncture on theviscero-somatic reflex was mediated by a recurrent circuit consisting of the ascen-ding fibres in the ventrolateral funiculi,the bulbar medial reticular formationand the descending fibres in the dorsolateral funiculi.The present work showedthat in unanesthetized,immobilized cats dorsal root potential(DRP)could beevoked by stimulation of any part of such a recurrent circuit.To stimulate theascending fibres,a segment of right half of the thoracic cord was isolated with thecaudal end cut and the rostral end intact.The latencies of the DRPs(left L6)evoked by stimulation of the half isolated spinal cord at T2-4,the nucleus raphemagnus or surface of the left dorsolateral funiculi were 48±6msec,36±3msec and3—5msec respectively.There were approximately correlated temporal courses ofthe negativity of DRP evoked by stimulation of the half isolated spinal cord or thenucleus raphe magnus and the inhibitory phase of the flexor reflex or the viscero-somatic reflex conditioned by the same stimulus.The length constant of the fibresinvolved 1n the DRP evoked by stimulation of the half isolated spinal cord wasless than 3mm,indicating depolarization of small fibres.Section of the dorsola-teral funiculi at T2-3 abolished the DRP evoked by stimulation of the half isolatedspinal cord or the nucleus raphe magnus.Lesion placed in the bulbar medialreticular formation including the nucleus raphe magnus abolished or attenuatedmarkedly the DRP evoked by stimulation of the half isolated spinal cord.Theseresults suggest a possible presynaptic mechanism mediated by a spino-bulbo-spinalrecurrent circuit which might play a role in acupuncture analgesia.

In this study the action of vegetative nervous receptors in the processing of propagated Message or sensation along Channels (PSC or PMC) and the effects of acupuncture were observed.36 rabbits were divided three equal groups named as A,M and B.As a index the pain threshold(PT)is regarded as the incubative period of paininduced swing head reflex when the mouth angle of rabbits was irradiated by radiation hot energy,equal drugs or distilled water was injected into skin both at 10cm over Zusanli(S36) and 15cm under S36 at stomach Channel or 2 cm side of them with a micropropeller through infusion pin.Executing acupuncture S36 or 0.8cm side of it for 10min.Before acupuncture,measuring the basic pain threshold,then injected 2μl/5 min,and 1μl/10min during acupuncture,5 μl/50min(Group A)or 4 μl/30min(group B,M)after acupuncture. As results,at first PT wee risen significantly after acupuncture acupoint of S36 and not affected when acupuncture side of S36.PT were just risen a little after acupuncture when injected Regitin in Group A or Atropine in Group M or Isoprenaline in Group B into Channel.PT were risen marked when injected drug side of Channel or injected distilled water at Channel.So we regard the drugs are to acted on injected location at Channel,Phentolamine is to blocks receptor α specially,Atropine is to blocks receptor M specially and isoprenaline is to excites receptor β specially.That is to say,there have excitatory receptor α,M and inhibitory receptor β at channels involving its functional activities.Furthermore,PT after acupuncture were changed regularly,and waved around a cycle of 28 min.

Meridians in The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic include vascular meridians and nonvascular meridians.The latter is a conductive course of acupuncture signs along meridian lines on the skin.In the present paper,it is described from following five aspects:Pathway of transmitting acupuncture signs exist definitely on the skin and the essence of the pathway is sympathetic nervous senstive lines;Trans mitting of acupuncture signs or propagated sensation along meridian occurs on the skin;Release and blokage of sympathetic neurotransimitters in the meridian lines on the skin after acupuncture are correlated with meridian conduction;Acupoint-injection of microquantitative α-receptor excitant can imitate acupuncture effect;Meridians are rich in sympathetic neurotransmitters;There are specific cells of catecholamines in the skin.At the last,it should be indicated that blood vessels are the most typical pathway of sympathetic nerve and sensive pathway of neurotransmitters in the body.Therefore,sympathetic nerve sensative pathway is the common core of the two kinds of meridians.

《内经》的经络包括运行营血的血管性经络和运行卫气的非血管性经络两类 ,后者即针刺信号沿皮肤经线的传导过程。本文从五个方面论述了皮肤中确实存在传递针刺信号的通道以及通道的实质是交感神经敏感线 :针刺信号传递或循经感传发生在皮肤中 ,针刺后皮肤经线交感递质释放与阻断与经络传导相关 ,微量的α受体兴奋剂穴位注射模拟出针刺效应 ,经脉线为交感神经递质富集线 ,皮肤中存在特异的儿茶酚胺细胞。最后指出 ,血管本身是体内最典型的交感神经及递质敏感通道 ,因此 ,交感神经敏感通路是两类经络的共同核心。
