In this paper,a mathematical model of the ring rolling process is proposed,which is based on a rectangular cross section at eleva-temperature after discussing the characteris-tics of the ring rolling process.The relationship between the hydraulic servo-system and the ring rolling process are analyzed.The proposed mathematical model can be used to design the control system and optimize the rolling strategy,and it has great significance to the rolling prediction and ring production.
