Optical limiting in new N acetamide C 60 nitride(N acetamide 1,2 dihydro 1,2 aza fullerene)are studies by using tunable Ti:sapphire pulse laser with wavelength of 691nm,pulse width of 10ns.
A jadeite gem having visible emission (red, yellow, violet) has been synthesized by doping Eu_2O_3, Dy_2O_3, CeO_2 of 0.01-0.1 mol under high pressure and high temperature. Their emission spectra were determined.
Results The average dust concentration in natural and artificial gem processing workshops were 1.9mg/m~3 and 3.8mg/m~3,and the average free silicon contents of the gem dusts were 70.9% and 44.9%.
The incidence of silicosis in 4 591 natural gem processing workers and 2 980 artificial gem processing workers were 3.0%(137/4 591) and 3.7%(111/2 980) with the average age of onset of being(30.0±5.5)and 30.6±4.1)years old, respectively.
This peper mainly describes that gemstone——Al_2O_3 single crystal can be metallized by sintering metal powder process and its metallized sealing characteristic is better than that of poly-crystal Al_2O_3 ceramic.
Bying heat treatment on the rubies respectively in Thailand(sealed,1500~1700(°C),t=8~15h) and in the Gemstone Testing Centre,East China University of Science and Technology(open,1400~1600(°C),t=15~24h),the parti-colour of the ruby samples are declined, with purer red and higher transparency.
The optical penetration depths and light attenuation characteristics for normal and adenomatous human colon mucosa/submucosa and normal and adenomatous human colon muscle layer/chorion tissues at 630 nm,680 nm,720 nm,780 nm,810 nm,850 nm and 890 nm wavelengths of Ti∶sapphire laser were studied,a double-integrating-spheres system and inverse adding-doubling(IAD) method were used in this experiment.
Using radio-frequency magnetron sputtering, it is demonstrated that amorphous films based on a tungsten tellurite glass can be deposited on different substrates (such as opal, sapphire, fused silica, Corning glass 1737, and tellurite glass).
Spectral characteristics of single crystals-fluorite, magnesium fluoride, quartz, sapphire, silicon carbide, lithium fluoride, barium fluoride, and fianite-used as materials for optical windows in studies in the VUV spectral region are presented.
This instrument is designed for controlling the technological process of growing semiconductor heterostructures on substrates of various types (GaAs, InP, Si, and sapphire).
The physicochemical (including luminescence) and catalytic properties of the complex in butadiene polymerization and 1,1-gem-dibromo-2-phenylcyclopropane dehalogenation were studied.
Processes of recent activation migrated from the southeast to northwest with the successive formation and erosion of ephemeral manganese and gemstone deposits in the same direction.
The pegmatites of Transamazonic age (1.9?Ga), found rarely in the study area, are of economic importance in the context of emerald mineralization, but seem to be of less importance for rare metal and other gemstone mineralization.
