As for the theoretical research of track structures,thecalculation of rail strength and the design of solid rail base andothers were often laid stress on in the past.But the research ofthe calculating theory and method in ballast and subgrade hasnot been paid enough attention to.Since ballast and subgradeare the weakest links of the track structures,the failure anddeformation of ballast and subgrade are the major causes of thetrack deformation,even of final failure.Therefore,it is neces-sary to strengthen the research of this problem.Applying thebasic principle of the 3-dimensional finite element method andcombining it with the real condition of ballast and subgrade,this paper suggests a new method to calculate the stresses andanalyze the stability and vibration of ballast and subgrade,i.e.the dynamic 3-dimensional finite element method of ballastand subgrade.This method has been proved correct and feasible through thecalculation in theory and test.

The gear of deformation in a harmonic gearing isthe part that very likely induces failure on the fatiguestrength because of its shell thickness. Generally, the gear of deformation is simply taken as aring subjected to bending and thus calculated. The thesis suggestd that the theory of the cylindrical shellmay be applied to the wall thickness of the gear of defo-mation for designing its fatigue strength and presented re-quired calculation formula.

谐波齿轮传动中的柔轮是最易疲劳破坏的零件,因为柔轮壳体的壁厚是最薄弱环节。目前的计算方法是将柔轮视为圆环受弯来处理。本文应用薄壳理论对柔轮壁厚进行强度计算和提供必要的计算公式。
