This study was undertaken to assess the histocompatility and maintainable time of freeze -dried cross -linked bone collagen membrane (GLCM) in rat and its potential for use in the guided tissue regeneration (GTR) of treatment of periodontal disease in human. After GLCM was implanted into rats, histological study demonstrated that at 21 days, capillary grew itno the membrane and the membrane thickness reduced, at 35 days the graft material had been replaced by fibrous tissue. These indicated that GLCM could remain about 4 weeks in vivo and had good histo compatibicity. GLCM was retrieved after 7 days from implanted human periodontitis site and examined by scan electron microscope. The shape and construction of GLCM was intact and clear but there were many bacteria on the membrane. These results show that GLCM is a good membrane material for use in the GTR and also indicate that it is essential to increase antibacteria during the GTR.

本研究目的是评价冻干交联胶原膜(GLCM)在小鼠体内的组织相容状况、留存时间和植入人牙周袋内的应用情况。将GLCM植入小鼠皮下,三周后可见毛细血管长久,膜变薄;五周后由结练组织取代,显示GLCM有良好的组织相容性,可在体内维持4周左右。将GLCM植入人牙周袋内7天后取出,股形态基本完好,扫描电镜观,交联结构清晰无损,但有细菌附着于膜上。结果表明GLCM是较好的引导牙周组织再生术(GTR)的膜材料,也提示GTR中应加强抗菌措施。

Objective To study the regeneration of periodontal tissue after the application of β TCP/BMP artificial bone to class Ⅱ furcation defects. Methods Periodontal defects were produced surgically around premolar teeth in 4 dogs. The flap surgery was performed and the root surfaces were curetted to remove the periodontal ligament and the cementum. A synthetic bioabsorble barrier manufactured from poly DL lactide was used. Objective To study the regeneration of periodontal tissue after the application of β TCP/BMP artificial bone to class Ⅱ furcation defects. Methods Periodontal defects were produced surgically around premolar teeth in 4 dogs. The flap surgery was performed and the root surfaces were curetted to remove the periodontal ligament and the cementum. A synthetic bioabsorble barrier manufactured from poly DL lactide was used. The defects were divided into 3 groups (β TCP/BMP+PDLLA、PDLLA、 control). 12 weeks after surgery, the animals were sacrificed and the teeth with their supporting periodontium were processed for light microscopic evaluation. Results The definitive evidences of regeneration were founded both in BMP/GTR group and GTR group, but the BMP/GTR group exhibited more new bone formation, cementum deposition occupying the majority of the furcation defects than the other two groups. Conclusion It was concluded that the β TCP/BMP artificial bone can be used in GTR technique to promote periodontal regeneration.

目的 将骨形成蛋白 (bonemorphogeneticprotein ,BMP)和多孔 β磷酸三钙 (β tricalciumphosphate ,β TCP)复合人工骨联合应用于引导组织再生 (guidedtissueregeneration ,GTR)技术中 ,评价其对Ⅱ度根分叉病变牙周组织再生修复的影响和意义。方法 用健康成年杂种狗 4只 ,制备下颌后牙区人工骨缺损。实验牙位随机分为 3组 :①骨形成蛋白 /引导组织再生 (BMP/GTR)组 :缺损处植入引导膜材料和复合人工骨 ;②GTR组 :单纯放置引导膜材料 ;③以常规翻瓣术为对照组。术后 12周取材做组织学观察和评价。结果 两实验组均有明显新附着形成 ,其中BMP/GTR组有大量新生牙槽骨、牙骨质、牙周韧带生长。对照组新生组织量很少。结论 β TCP/BMP是一种具有较强骨诱导能力 ,生物相容性较好的复合人工骨 ,在引导牙周组织再生术中有良好的应用前景
