The load movement rules is the basis of the design of hydraulic system and the optimization of matching the relationship between different hydraulic systems and load. The load movement rules can only be identified by precisely determining typical operating conditions. Orienting at various types, models and sizes of cranes and according to the strong random and empirical characters in the determination of their operating conditions, the expert system is adopted to establish a structural model for the determination of operating conditions. ESDTO is developed to take the place of the conventional manual method. The constitution and basic modules of the system are described in detail.
