The K 2FeO 4 with 95% purity was synthesized by means of chemical method, and the appropriate synthesizing temperature was concluded by researching the affecting factors during the process of synthesizing the material. The battery with K 2FeO 4 and Zn electrodes...

The super iron compound, in which iron is 6 valence state, is capable to provide high cathode storage capacity due to its characteristic of three electron reduction. The state of arts of research for super iron compound in the world were introduced. The K 2FeO 4 with 95% purity was synthesized by means of chemical method, and the appropriate synthesizing temperature was concluded by researching the affecting factors during the process of synthesizing the material. The battery with K 2FeO 4 and Zn electrodes was assembled and its electric properties in alkaline electrolyte was tested. The results show that its stable discharge voltage at low current is about 1.5 V, and its specific discharge capacity is up to 270 mAh/g. Moreover, the battery using the K 2FeO 4 electrode adding 20% graphite has good discharge result

超级铁化合物是铁的 6价态的化合物 ,由于其 3电子的还原特性 ,可以进行多电子还原 ,因此可提供较高的阴极容量。介绍了目前国际上对超级铁化合物的研究情况 ;采用化学合成方法 ,合成出了纯度大于 95 %的K2 FeO4,并对材料合成过程中的影响因素进行了研究 ,得出了适合的合成温度条件 ;利用合成出的K2 FeO4与Zn电极配对组装成电池 ,考察了电池在碱性电解液中的电性能 ,结果显示该电池小电流平稳放电电压在 1.5V左右 ,放电比容量达到了 2 70mAh/g ,同时发现在K2 FeO4材料中添加 2 0 %的石墨得到了较好的放电结果
