The method of fuzzy mathematics was used to establish fuzzy synthetic evaluation models for soil nutrients. Such models were shown to be more accurate and reliable than the traditional ones in quantifying the factors involved. This method can be used in the quantified evaluation of soil quality and other factors of natural environment.

A fuzzy mathematic method was used to make an overall evaluation of nutrient status of the farming brown forest soil of southeastern Tibet. This method was shown to be feasible in evaluation of soil nutrients with results being more accurate and reliable and the final outcome of the evaluation may directly express grading of soil nutrients.

应用模糊数学方法对藏东南地区的耕作棕壤的养分状况进行综合评价。结果表明,这种方法对土壤养分的评价更加准确和可靠,所获得的最终评价值可直接反映土壤养分的绝对等级。
