            1980~1984年共测福建省56县稻白叶枯病298菌株,据其致病力强弱划分为四个菌系群(Ⅰ—Ⅳ)。菌株和品种间的关系存在着数量级差异,尚未发现有明显的特异性反应,其分布特点有沿海强、山区弱的趋势。用Ⅱ—Ⅳ菌系群的13个菌株测定国内外部份水稻品种抗性,有15个品种表现强的抗病性。我省早、晚稻当家品种都为感病或中感品种。74—105品种表现高抗、耐淹,适宜在沿江沿海低洼易淹稻田推广种植。杂交稻威优6号、威优30、四优30为较好抗病组合,已在全省推广应用。
