The reactions of coal chars with carbon dioxide under pressurized conditions have been studied with the aid of homemade thermobalance which was specially designed for high pressure procese studics. Coal char samples were obtained from the carbonizing process of eight chinese coals, including lignite to anthracite, at 900℃ under controlled conditions. The reactions were put forth under pressures, from 1.2 to 31 at.. and in the temperature range 800—1050℃.It was found the reactivity of lower-rank coals would be more reactive than that of high rank ones. Under the same gasification temperature, the reactivity would increase with decreasing preparation temperature, and on the other hand under the same heat treatment temperature, the reactivity would increase with increasing gasification temperature.By correlating the various components involved in the reaction, the specific gasification rate, W, may be approximately expressed as follows:W=K_1P_(co2)/1+K_2P_(co)+K_3P_(co2) (under 1.2—31 at. and 850—900℃)The relationship between specific 'gasification rates and carbon conversion fraction has also been discussed.

This paper investigated the adsorption characteristics of an anionic dispersanton the coal surface,viscosity-reducing capabilities resulted from this dispersant in the coalwater slurry and the interrelationships of both of them with coal surface structures,The re-sults indicate that the adsorption characteristics and viscosity-reducing capabilities of theanionic dispersant are all greatly governed by the content of the reactive oxygen-bearingfunctional groups,especially carboxyl groups,on the coal surface. Resultantly, the adsorp-tion of the dispersant and its viscosity-reducing capability are notablly weakened for low-rank coals with high content of these reactive groups and bad slurryability. Decompositionsof these reactive groups,arising from the low-temperature(200~300℃)upgrading ofcoal,enhace the viscosity-reducing capability of the dispersant and therefore,the coal slur-ryability can be markedly improved.

研究了一种阴离子型分散剂在煤表面的吸附特性和其产生的降粘效应,以及它们与煤表面结构性质间的关系。结果表明,阴离子型分散剂的吸附性能和降粘效应受煤表面含氧官能团尤其是羧基官能团的显著制约。低温热处理(200~300℃)使年轻煤表面疏水化作用显著增强,从而显著地提高了分散剂在煤表面的吸附性能及其对水煤浆产生的降粘效应,因此,年轻煤的成浆性得到大幅度改善。
